Publishing & Reuse

How this guide can become a maintained national reference.

The publication model.

Use a permanent state hub, district pages and shared participation guides. Keep a source register behind the reader-facing pages, and preserve the distinct boundaries for each office.

The data model.

A district record needs a stable ID, serving Congress, official contacts, map references, review date and visible gaps. Unknown effective dates and local election methods remain unknown until verified.

Before another state is added.

  • Verify the complete district roster and seat count.
  • Read the final map authority and later corrections.
  • Identify county equivalents and local governance systems.
  • Test district links, mobile layout and keyboard use.
  • Record the release and the person responsible for review.

CitizenLibrary.org uses editable WordPress pages with a portable source registry. The standalone edition retains the original guide’s official sources, check dates and coverage standards.
